  They have started with their rumour that only God knows where it originates from oo I got a broadcast message on my blackberry that reads "It was just passed across that we should not put on red dress tommorrow or anything that contains red, either shoes, shirt, trousers, pant, skirt, glasses. They  will not use our blood to redeem Nigeria. Information is from the Redemption camp, please rebroadcast this to save others" It seems somepeople somewhere derive great pleasure or even cash from starting rumour and the most alarming thing is that they use prominent and famous people or organisations just for people to believe. I am more than 100% sure this is not coming from the alleged source. If Pastor E.A. Adeboye has any information that is of importance to the well bieng of the nation< he would have called a press conference. Am not discouraging anybody from believing o, but as for me there is absolutely no IOTA OF TRUTH on this until i hear it from him. And p

The Lagos State Police Command has debunked the rumor circulating on social media that some people died has a result of orange poisoning. The Police have not received any complaint as regards the matter in any of its Divisions or Area Commands. Ngozi Braide, Spokesperson for the Command posted on her Facebook page “We consider this as false as none of the Divisional or Area Command Headquarters in Lagos have received any compliant with regards to such from members of the public” Rumor mongers abeg stop oo, don’t chase our Muslim brothers and sisters away from orange oo.

Serena Williams teamed with big sister Venus to win the women’s doubles title at the Olympics on Sunday, adding to the gold she won a day earlier in singles.  The American sisters beat Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka of the Czech Republic 6-4, 6-4 under the roof on a rainy afternoon at the All England Club. Venus closed out the match with a backhand volley winner after the Czechs saved a pair of match points.  Serena became tennis’ first double gold medalist at an Olympics since Venus won singles and doubles at the 2000 Sydney Games. 21 years old  Henry Chinonso Ihelewere, a Nigerian playing football in Romania has died. He died on Sunday on the pitch while his team was playing against a local team known as FC Balotești. He collapsed after 15 minutes and was taken to hospital but after an hour of of resuscitation attempts was pronounced dead. Ihelewere had been playing in Romania since 2007, when he was transferred to FC Farul. He was part of a group of Nigerian players brought in to play in Romania's second division. May his gentle soul rest in peace!

16-year-old Women’s gymnastics all-around champion Gabby Douglas likes her hairstyle just fine, thanks. She said she was a little confused when she logged onto her computer after winning her second gold medal in three days and discovered people were debating her pulled-back look. “I don’t know where this is coming from. When I see ladies in skin hugging dresses, top or whatever clinging to their body like a second skin, I freeze out and silently say "God have mercy" I cant imagine squeezing myself into a tight dress , I bet I will suffocatebefore getting to my destination.(Seriously!) Clothing should not be a second skin! If your panties can be seen through your pants, its time to go up a size. If your belly hangs over your belt, you might consider looking into a double digits size rather than trying to fit into a size 8 jeans. You would not want to be in a skin-tight clothing with breasts squeezed together like sardine in an ill-fitting bra, back fat oozing out from undeneath the armpit. "Simple and fit is the rule, which is timeless" Seeing every nook and cranny through a crocheted mesh dress isn't sexy, it's simply poor taste.
