COSMIC RAY RUMOUR; WHY FEAR?

The news was all over Nigeria that "all phones should be switched off and kept yards away between 12.30am and 3.30am because cosmic rays will enter into the earth from mars"
Someone somewhere who is so jobless and idle just decided to originate a very stupid and fake rumour which the Blackberry Messanger helped in spreading like wild fire, the person must be somewhere now satisfied he has succeded in fooling and putting fear in Nigerians who allowed themselves to be fooled.

Am the last person that would believe in such, infact, i kept my phones on my body and i was awake and chatting till around 2.00am. There was no sign of Muka ray, Lasun ray or even Baba ray(lol). Am sure they wereheld up in the almighty Lagos traffic as a result of the closure of third mainland bridge.

Why are we allowing the fear of little things kill our faith, wisdom and even literacy?
I was not afraid not because am a witch but because it was nothing but a LIE.

Where is our wisdom? Why would something that has to do with life and of such magnitude originate from BBM and our local media will not broadcast it as a breaking news?
And again, why is it just Nigeria the news is getting too?

There are a total of 366 FEAR NOT in the bible, take each one for each day.

If these RUMOURS wont stop, the FEAR has to stop.

YABATECH STUDENTS VS LASTMA

    Some youths suspected to be students of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, allegedly abducted a Lagos State Traffic Management Authority official and injured three others on Thursday because the traffic officials reportedly accosted them for using the lane designated for Bus Rapid Transit on Wednesday.  The students were said to have also gone to LASTMA Zone 15 Office, Iponri, and vandalised four impounded vehicles in the office. “On Wednesday afternoon, an unregistered Mazda bus with the inscription ‘Yaba College of Technology Students’ Union’ was seen using the BRT lane around Post Office, Oyingbo.
