UNBEATABLE USAIN BOLT
UsaUsain Bolt retained the Olympic 100m title by winning the greatest race in Olympic history.
The Lightning Bolt crossed the line in 9.63 seconds, a new Olympic record and the second-fastest time ever, after his own world record of 9.58.
Blake had been unbeaten all year and was regarded as the favourite by many
experts, but Bolt, always the man for the big occasion, saved his best for
when it mattered, to the obvious delight of the 80,000-strong crowd at the
Olympic Stadium, who rose to their feet in unison as he crossed the line.
The bronze medal was taken by Justin Gatlin, the champion of 2004.
